Introductory Courses on Sustainable Agriculture for City Farmers


This 2-day course is designed to promote participants' understanding about sustainable food production in city farming and to demonstrate how to grow their own food.

Content
  • An overview of sustainable food systems - from organic production, resource recovery to food distribution
  • Organic farming principles and basic techniques
  • Field practice: preparing farmland and pot planting
  • Visit KFBG's facilities for organic vegetable production, composting, wastewater treatment and recycling

Fee
The fees for the course is HK$300 per person. Successful applicants will be notified 7 days before the starting date of the course. Course fees will have to be paid within 7 days after being notified about acceptance for the course.
